Road Show América Latina
To draw attention to the crucial role that standards are playing in Latin America, a group led by ASTM Executive Vice President Katharine Morgan coordinated about 20 events and meetings on May 16-20, 2016 in Lima, Santiago, and Bogotá as part of the "Road Show América Latina” [More].
Road Show Centro América
The ASTM International Central American Road Show was held 11-15 September, 2017 in El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama. A logical follow-up to the successful Roadshow held in Peru, Chile and Columbia in 2016, the Central American Road Show connected directly with close to 400 individual stakeholders during a week-long series of meetings [More].
Asia Road Show
Staff from ASTM International and its affiliate Safety Equipment Institute hosted a series of events, workshops, and meetings in China and Korea during an "Asia Road Show" held June 19-23, 2017. The road show highlighted how ASTM International standards are globally accepted because they adhere to the World Trade Organization’s principles for the development of international standards [More].
Caribbean Road Show
The ASTM International Caribbean Road Show was held 4-8 June in Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, and Guyana. ASTM partnered with MOU signatories in the region, as well as the International Code Council (ICC), to hold programs in each country consisting of industry workshops, outreach visits to local industry and government, and forums with university students and laboratories. Vietnam Road Show
From 5 through 14 September 2018, ASTM International conducted a Road Show for Vietnam in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City. A MoU partner since 2003, Vietnam has cited hundreds of ASTM standards, primarily for petroleum and petrochemicals, construction and textiles. [More].
